Hair Trials-How many till u booked?

I had a 2nd today and I liked it, didnt love it.
Why I am being so difficult??

I dont want to keep paying for trials...they add up.

Any recommendations out there as well.

I dont want to pay a lot for trial and day of.

TIA!

I only had one 'official' hair trial, but looked into three other salons but they turned out to be super expensive b/c I needed hair extensions.

I found success w/Mia from bridal lounge - she didn't charge for extensions, and she's comes to you for the trial and the day of, w/no minimum. I'm using her for both hair & makeup. She charges $75 for the trial, and $150 for the day of. Kind of on the expensive side, but I felt it was w/in my budget and completely worth it.

I've heard great reviews about Jenn the Hair Genie - did you check her out? I believe Hollie used her, and her hair was absolutely gorgeous.

I would recommend that you check out Jenn the Hair Genie.
Her prices seem very fair and her reputation is Great. From what I hear about her I dont think you could be unhappy. She is doing mine( as a bridemaid) for my friends wedding in April and I also booked her for my own in Oct..

You can probably put up a post on Vendors Helping Bride board and i'm sure Jenn will respond.

She requires a minimum just so you know.

I had only one hair trial. I used April from Creative Hair Design (she's a vendor). I waited until Nov. to book hair and was lucky that she was still available. I booked her on the spot, since I loved my hair (half up, half down). Deb, you should contact her. She did everyone's hair for my wedding and was fantastic! If you want to see pics of many different styles, look in my community album.

I've had two so far. The first was a nightmare (a vendor on this site) she was very expensive wanted 175 the day of and my hair looked like crap! I'm glad I got the trial because if she would have done my hair on my wedding day the way she did on the trial I would have died! I booked the second person I had a trial with. She knows what she is doing. I just felt that another hair style would look better on me so I'm going next Friday for my hopefully last hair trial. It's frustrating and I hate how much it's cost me so far but your hair on your wedding day in my opinion is very important. Good luck!

Same here. I'm having my hair trial on March 11th. I met her the day Oksana did my make up for the epics since they were meeting to go do a wedding that day. She has been great communication wise so far.

Re: Hair Trials-How many till u booked?

I live in Los Angeles, so I booked my trials when I came home to NY for the holidays.
I only had two, I might have had one more, but I didn't have the time and a bunch of people where already booked for my date (Hair genie).
The first one was nice, but it fell out after 3 hours
The second one was good as well, but a lot of people liked my first one better, saying it looked more natural. The second one stayed in even while I slept on it, so I went with her.

I have been emailing with her saying I wanted to have more my hair more nautral, but it had to last throughout the whole day. She said she could totally do it. Plus she is a sweetie and I would like to have her around on my wedding day.

Good luck!
