i really want to wear my hair just like jessica simpson did for her wedding...i think it was so beautiful. however, i am getting married towards the end of august and hair people have been telling me to wear it up. do you think i would be taking a bargain if i wore it down? any other brides have this problem?

I think you should have your hair whichever way you want. Have you had your trials yet? Have a trial with your hair all up and also have a trial with your hair like Jessica had it and see which one looks better.

i haven't had my trial yet. i am going to see jillian next week and she said if i want, she can have her hair person come... or, i was going to use my hair person that i generally use and she was the one that told me no hair down because she said the last thing i want to be worrying about is my hair. i mean, if i want to wear it down, shouldn't it stay perfect the whole night?

personally, I'm partial to 'up do's' but that's just me. You might want to try and 'half and half' which I think also looks nice. I wouldn't want my hair on my neck in August but that's just me. I have naturally curly hair and would be afraid of frizz or droop with the hot (and most likely humid) weather. JMHO - you have to try it both ways and see which YOU like better.

Against the advise of everyone I know (and many I don't), I didn't wear my hair up. It was the 4th of July and hot and humid (this year), and I wore my hair mostly down and was very comfortable. The reason I didn't want my hair up is b/c I really look different with it up and I'm not thrilled with the way I look. Plus, it did not fit the romance of my gown. Even though I was very nervous b/c of the overwhelming naysayers, I am really happy with my decision in the end. Definitely get a few trials and see what you would be most comfortable with. That is the key element to your wedding day - to be comfortable, look fantastic, but still be yourself! Good luck!

it's YOUR day..where it whatever way makes you happy!..I intend to wear mine half up/half down...I feel whatever way you feel more comfortable with...but I also think the neckline of the dress and style plays a part as well...

I totally agree with you that Jessica Simpson's hair looked gorgeous. I think I may have part of mine up with the other part down. But your hair trials should help you out enormously.
