Hair Vendor Question

Hair Vendor Question

What do you ladies think of using a hair vendor that does not provide a 'contract'...

My friend recommended a great hair person to come to the house and do all the girls hair for a decent price. She swears by this girl and I totally trust my friends opinion - she has EXCELLENT taste.

Any thoughts?

Re: Hair Vendor Question

I didn't sign a contract with my hair person.

Sometimes I just put faith in people, especially after I meet them. My first impressions of people are usually right, so I go with my gut on things like this.

i didnt sign a contract. i think its okay. honestly, what good will a written contract do? if she doesnt show up on the day of the wedding, what recourse will you really have? going to small claims court for a couple hundred dollars? i think you'll be okay if you just keep in touch with her and speak with her a few days before the big day.

This girl also works in a salon and I can have the option of bringing all the girls there and they can all get their hair done by different people.
