I have a strange question. I am a little concerned about the dark hair on my arms. It's not too bad, but it bothers me. Has anyone ever had arm hair waxed off? I have very sensitive skin and I'm worried that I shouldn't do it. Any advice?

Re: Hair Waxing
I got my under arms waxed for the first time a week before my wedding. The area waxed was red for about a day and a half. It felt like you were ripping a bandaid off of your arm all at once, and I hate PAIN!

I've never had my arms waxed but I have had my under arms, bikini and full legs waxed - and the pain is not bad at all - it goes away quickly. I am very sensitive too but the redness goes away within a day.
Good Luck!

Re: Hair Waxing
I get my arms waxed all the time, at least once a month. I'm very self conscience of the hair on my arms. I can give you the name of my place if you want, I have really sensitive skin and the woman will turn off the heat for the wax 20 minutes before I get there so she doesn't burn me.
Why don't you just get the mustach bleach and bleach your arm hair? This way you have no pain and it will be light so you wont' really notice it. I do that for my italian face

Re: Hair Waxing
I think you might look unnatural with no hair on your arms - like a chiuahuah or something. I agree that you should try bleaching it first. But give yourself enough time before your wedding so that if you don't like it, you have time to try something else (waxing, or natural again, or whatever).

Re: Hair Waxing
I wish I had done this becuase there were def. some pictures where the hair on my arm was noticeable. Especially for the close up shots at the altar putting the rings on each other. I didnt get it done because it usually doesnt come out in pictures, but with the angles and the closeups our photorapher used it def. came out in a few pictures. So, I say give it a try.

I did it the week before the wedding. It hurt but not too bad. I am so glad I did, I love the way they look and feel.
