Hair woes...

Hair woes...

Hi gals...a couple of people I know recommended a salon near the temple where a person would come and do my hair the day of the wedding. I call and she is open that date and open to coming, but she won't lock in the date without a deposit (non refundable) and is willing to do the trial first but would prefer I go on a day where I'm trying on the dress (not in yet) and/or getting the hairpiece (didn't even START yet). FH says I'm complaining in circles because I don't want to lose $100 if I can't get the trial yet, but I want the trial before booking..does that make sense? In the meantime, I had a dreamish nightmare that no one came to do my hair, so I know I have to get on it...thoughts?? Thanks!!

Definately do the trial before putting a deposit down if you haven't used this person before. It's always better to have your headpiece because it has to work with the style, and different headpieces have to be put in different ways. You don't have to be trying your dress on that day. It would be nice and give you the whole effect, but personally I don't want to see everything put together until my wedding day. HTH.

Thing is..how hard is it to pick a headpiece?? Do I just take a pic with me to the place??? Thanks for the advice...that's what I'm thinking, but I get nervous that the date will disappear

Take a picture of your dress with you when you go looking for a headpiece. Definitely check out Barron's in Tri-County Flea Market. You may also want to bring pics of how you want to wear your hair, or at least have an idea so they can recommend the best options.
