So I have very long curly hair and our wedding is in hot and humid July... the two just dont go together! My hair will frizz frizz frizz! Putting my hair in an up-do isnt an option for me - i never wear my hair up and I would just feel so uncomfortable. I would love to have my hair wavy and loose- not curly!
Ive been considering having it permanently straightened... like the japanese treatment? Or maybe the new brazilian hair treatment? Has anyone done these?
Any ideas? Ive been thinking about this a lot...

My hair dresser had recommended the new brazilian treatment. I'm afraid to do it though for fear that it will look greasy. Apparently it's amazing though and gets rid of all the frizz. Only downside is you can't touch your hair, put it back in a ponytail or even behind your ears for like 3 days I think it was. Basically your stuck in your house looking like a grease bomb I hear. I hear ya though with the worries. I have curly hair too and am also getting married in July. Let me know how you like the treatment if you get it!

My g/f has the frizziest hair ever and you would NEVER know by looking at her b/c she is obsessed over it lol. She did the straightening and loved it...and u're right, she didn't want to leave her house either b/c it was very flat and she couldn't put it back or wear a hat or anything...i don't remember if it was 3 days though. But....after that, she loved it. However, she did say that it works the best the 1st time and when you get it redone, it doesn't work as well (my other gf said that also)

YES this is true - u cant wash your hair or do anything with it for 3 straight days.....that alone wouldn't be good, I wash my hair every day and I am not sure how I could possibly go 3 days....(i have oily hair)......
My friend at work got this done and she swears by it....she doesn't even have to dry it she just brushes out of the shower and it dries pin straight.....my hair is straight to begin with so I am not much help!
