I went to the Aveda Training Institute in the village and got a great cut for only $17! it's online on Citysearch

Jeffrey Stein Salon is pretty good - reasonable prices too (for NYC anyway) - about $65 for a haircut, depending on who you go to. I go to William. 43rd and 3rd.

My haidresser's name is Pamela and she if from a salon called ALICE on 2nd Ave and I believe its 73rd St. She is phenominal...FM me for further info
