My hairdresser is suggesting that I go to him on my wedding day. And, how did the work if you had a make-up person coem to the house?

IMO, unless that's your regular hair dresser and you are totally loyal to him, I would recommend that you have someone come to your house.
I can't tell you how many posts I have seen on here by former brides who said having makeup & hair people come to them was the best decision.

I'm getting ready EARLY!!! My hairdresser is in a top NYC salon and there was no way I was going to pay the prices that they want. I've been going to my HD for 4 years and am very devoted to him. He's coming to my house at eek...5:30am. and the best part...he told me to name the price. Make up is coming 7 am...

Honestly, it's whatever you prefer. I am having someone come, but only b/c she is a friend of the family. Otherwise I'd have no problem going somewhere. It's going to be the same in the end... you're going to look like a princess!!!!!
