Hair/Make up trial

How many months before the wedding should I schedule trials for hair and make-up.

I had mine in April, so for me it was a year before.

I did mine a year before. I'm glad I did because they book up quickly.

I plan on doing it as soon as I get my veil and thats not happening till this summer when I get my dress

I cant do one until about a month or two before my wedding because I am growing out a very short haircut. My hair will probably grow about 3 inches before my wedding so to do a trial now is just silly. I won't do extensions - not an option. I have faith in my regular stylist who is doing my make up as well.

I'm getting married in June 2006 and I just went for my first makeup trial. I have another makeup and hair trial next month. I would really like to have everything booked ASAP so that I don't need to stress about it anymore!

I dont want to do it toooo early..

But then again Im thinking maybe sometime thi summer since I will be around the same 'tanness' haha as I will be for the wedding

I'm waiting to do mine too, since I have shoulder-length hair now, but plan to have much longer hair for the wedding. I'm going to do a trial with my MOH's stylist who she loves. She's in Jersey and is not a vendor for a wedding site like LIW, so she probably won't be too hard to book 4 months before.
