OK, this might sound a bit nieve...but how much do you pay for hair or makeup trials?

if its a vendor on here i believe its $50+ - i think not 100% sure.

It's not a set amount if it's an LIW vendor - each vendor has their own pricing.
Some vendors have free trials but are $$$ on the day of.
Others are $50-65 (some do only regular makeup, like Oksana, and some do airbrush makeup like Mia of BridalLounge, Jacqueline Nicole, Jackie of Pretty Me, etc). Usually the airbrush trials are more.
I'm using Mia of BridalLounge and am very happy with my choice! You can see pics of my trial in my album.

yeah i hear alot of people say about 50 for make up trial, then hair aboub 75 and a little up

Yup, that is why it is so hard to keep a budget bc all these little things you dont think about ahead of time really add up
