hair/makeup

Hello,
I sound so repetitive but I don't post often and I am finding that I need help. I have been asking around but I havent found anyone to say this person is great you must use them. So does anyone know anyone for hair and make up. I am getting married in Long Island but I live in Brooklyn. Thanks advance.

I LOVED the woman who did mine. . she does hair and MU.. sachiko yanase you do need to do a package though. . she won't just do you but if you have BMs who want stuff done or MOB it works out . . she is out of queens but will travel to LI

I would highly recommend to get your make-up done at one of the beauty counters in a department store. Go on a week day (wknds are crowded & busy, less time to focus on your make-up), do some research! Get tips from make-up artists. They can show you step by step and products to purchase. If they did a fab job on your make-up, see if you can book them for the day of your wedding! I booked a make-up/hair artist for the day. I felt like it was an absolute waste of money. She an an satisfactory job with the hair tha could had been done at a salon. The make-up would had looked much better getting it done at dept store. If you need someone for about 3-4 hrs. to getting hair/make-up done, just go with a local hair salon. Bring pics of hair styles so they can do a trial. And for the make-up, go with a local department make-up counter. You'll save so much compared to booking with a make-up/hair stylist.

I highly recommend Lola Loves Make-up. She is incredible and her prices are amazing. She's a LIW vendor so you can look her up and her prices are posted on her website. Are you getting ready in Brooklyn? She may charge a travel fee but I'm not sure. Def worth at least calling her emailing her. Good luck!!

I 2nd Sachiko!!! She is so sweet and her work is AMAZING!!!! Worth every penny
