Hair/Makeup Dilemma

Hair/Makeup Dilemma

Any advice would be great.

This weekend I was going to a makeup trial BUT I spoke with a VERY popular makeup artist (M*I***) you know who! And it just so happens my day is NOW available and I have a trial with her March 5. Im going to her for makeup and hair and now i dont know if I should go to this trial this weekend... I mean i KNOW im going to love M*** work and more than likely book her, so I almost feel like whats the point of going this weekend, BUT what if this girl does an amazing job and its a quarter of the price... =/

THOUGH to be quite honest this is the one thing I dont mind spending on because Im picky and I was to look stunning which we all know thats what M*** does to you...

UGHH Im so indecisive! And I dont really like how this current makeup artist keeps in touch with me. She only does it via email, says talking on the phone is difficult for her and she doesnt like to give out her address so its Thurs and I still dont have it.
AND MORE SO and this isnt meant to be rude in ANYWAY, her emails are in such broken english that they are hardly professional and for some reason that just doesnt sit very well with me. And he emails ALWAYS are missing words or have MANY misspellings and I was the one to Confirm my appt with her because i hadnt heard from her in weeks since i made my appt. Like just lil things like this make me hesitate. Its why I canceled my first appt...

HELPPP what would you do in my shoes?

THANX LADIES!!!!!!!!!!

I would cancel with her and book a trial with someone else, I wanted two options (now I'm having a hard time choosing but at least I'm happy regardless and can pick and choose which aspects I liked for the final session)

but don't bother with someone who you aren't confident in their professionalism

IMO i would still go to the trial... then at least you can compare the 2

I did my make up with a MAC artist and my hair at a salon, gave me more than enough time to get ready (the MAC artist came to my house). I have seen prices for some popular makeup artists here and I say try out the other lady because you never know. I went with my girl and wouldn't change her for anyone, not to mention her prices was beyond reasonable. GL

Where is your Mac girl from?
Can you provide me with her info and rates?

Thank you in advance!!

I would do the trial with both and see who you like better.

I know you're worried about the other make up artist's professionalism and maybe its a reflection on how she might be on your wedding day. Go with your gut.

I went today anyway and while she was VERY nice and I mean she does know what shes doing, she couldnt give me the look I wanted to achieve even with all my pics.

Im happy I went at least Ill have a comparison and I can get an idea of the feel of the makeup and when I see what I dont like it will make me know more what I DO like.

I cant wait for my trial with M**!
