How far in advance should I book hair/makeup? I already have the person doing my hair she is my friend in the BP and does amazing hair. Now I just need someone for the rest of the BP and I need someone for makeup.

I booked mine almost a year in advance..... a good friend of mine wanted to use the girls I used and I think she tried booking them 6 months out and they were both booked up....so in my opinion the sooner the better.

I booked an MUA last month for my May wedding. Hair I am still on the hunt for - I may just use a salon by my mother's house.

I booked my hair and makeup over a year in advance and then had to change my hair person with only 8 months to go. I had a hard time finding someone that I liked for my hair. I would honestly start looking now.
