hair/makeup in queens

Can anyone reccomend their makeup artist in queens? (Pref. in or near astoria). My eparty is this July on Roosevelt Island, and I want to have my hair and makeup done!

Just wanted to give a shoutout to the place that did my hair and makeup. They were SOOOOOO wonderful! I received SOOOOO many compliments on my hair and makeup, people keep asking me where I got it done. And I did this WITHOUT a trial!!!!!! If anyone is looking for hair and makeup in Queens, this is THE place to go!!!!

The owner's name is Vita; her mother is the make-up artist. Both hair and makeup was OUTSTANDING! Especially the make-up. It stayed on all day and I didn't need to touch it up; just my lips a few times. We passed out when we got home so I didn't take my hair out or makeup(I know, a bog no-no) and the next day the hair was still holding and make-up was still good!

I was going to recommend Adela as well - they also have a makeup artist but i forgot what her name was.
