Hair/MakeUp Trial

I used Gina Marie from glam me up down the aisle. She did my hair amazing but I wasn't in love with my makeup. I trial-ed airbrush and hated it. I am not a make up wearer and it was way too much. We were pressed for time so after doing my hair and make up and my sisters hair I didn't have time to take everything off and try traditional make up so I set up another trial with her. Hopefully I like the make up better!

In what way was it too much? Was it too thick on your face? I'm getting an airbrush trial this Friday and I have really high expectations since I've heard great things about it. I don't wear makeup everyday either and when I do, it's very light because I hate the feeling of my pores getting clogged.

If I wear make up it is light shadow, liner and mascara. Going from that to airbrush was TOOO much for me. I felt my face was completely caked on. It felt light but it looked clownish. I didn't look natural. I felt I was getting married with a false representation of myself because that is not who I am and I didn't like it. I had HEARD that airbrush was the way to go if you don't wear a lot of make up but she told me that was not true. That you actually do feel it. I was all sorts of confused but know it wasn't for me. I have freckles on my face and they were covered and not as prominent had I just used light foundation. I am having another trial with her on the 19th to try traditional make up and feel much better about it. Good luck to you. You might LOVE it but for me who is not a make up wearer, it was not for me.

Hair/MakeUp Trial

A few years ago my sister was taking airbrush lessons and she brought me in to be her test dummy. The instructor told us that Airbrush is meant for models, like for Film and Photos, not real life use. The instructor kept saying how its too thick to look good ever in person, and how it won't stay smudge proof all day. I was shocked because I know airbrush is all the rave and so many brides want it. I haven't know any brides personally that did airbrush, but I'm starting to believe what that instructor said with the more reviews I read. I think I will def. do Traditional make up day of.

I hope the regular makeup trial goes better for you!
