Hair/Makeup trial & Boudoir shoot RAVE!!!!

OMG, I had such an amazing day yesterday. The two women I worked with made me feel so comfortable and so beautiful! First I had my hair and makeup trial with Gretchen of Makeup Artistry of Long Island . She was recommended to me by another makeup artist after they booked my trial and wedding day. I am so glad I contacted her. Gretchen does hair and makeup and will travel to you on your wedding day. So convenient and so talented! She is also very patient and just the sweetest. After trying my softer bridal look she transformed it into something a little smokier and sultry for my Boudoir shoot. I left Gretchen feeling absolutely confident and beautiful and met up with Alex of Blondie Boudoir at the Holiday Inn in Plainview. First of all, the hotel has a really cool. modern look and Alex loved the headboard on the bed. She kept calling it a backdrop. lol The room itself also had a bunch of features we could play with, like mirrors, benches, chairs and of course the headboard. Alex was so friendly and fun. You can tell she loves what she does and wants you to feel comfortable and will do whatever you need her to do to feel sexy! I wish I could do it again! She even gave me the idea of how to get my FH to swing by the hotel. Originally we weren't going to see eachother because I had to keep the secret of the room, and it would be kinda suspicious for me to randomly have a hotel room. That would have meant, since FH and I don't live with one another and we are on opposite work schedules, we wouldn't have seen eachother all week. But, because of Alex, I took a chance and FH showed up! It was an awesome escape from all the last minute craziness two months before the big day!

Exactly! I got my teasers while out to dinner with FH. So tempted to show him, but I plan on making a book and having his brother (BM) give it to him the morning of the wedding. I want those pictures to be in his head as I walk down the aisle and all night!!! Funny thing, Since he came to the room last night and I was wearing one of the outfits I wore for the shoot (black bra and one of his white button downs) he's going to put two and two together that morning. Can't wait for that, so I'll keep it a secret til then just to make sure that happens.
