I have my trial next week after work...but since I live with FH, he'll either have to see it, or I'll have to wash it off before I go home.
Did anyone else's FH see them??

well I did my makeup trial for a show, so DH saw me. I never did a hair trial and if I were to I would def not let him see that.

yea DH saw me - he drove me to all of my trials and always waited very patiently - we live together so chances are that he would have seen me anyway and i didn't want to drive out to Long Island by myself so he always took me - it was good to get his opinion - you will look different when it all comes together that day anyway - between the hair, make up, jewelry, the dress - so its not like if he sees how you are wearing your hair it will take away from anything KWIM?.....some girls like to surprise their FH - my DH knew about everything pretty much - he even saw me in my dress the day before the wedding b/c of the horrible bridal salon that i had so many problems with (which you can read about when i post my review) but he still got teary when he saw me for the first time, still got teary when i walked down the aisle and still cried during our vows - so it doesn't take anything away from how breathtaking you will be to him on your wedding day - i am evidence of that

I wanted FH to see me just to make sure he liked what he saw! He has no idea what my dress looks like and that will be a secret until our wedding day. I think just seeing my hair/mu doesn't give too much away...the entire 'look' will still be a surprise.

At the time of my trial, I was not living with FH yet, so I told him he was not allowed to come over that night. I want the whole look to be a surprise. I hope he likes it! I am worried about the make-up because FH likes the natural look. My trial was a little too much for me. On the day of, the eye shadow is going to be a more neutral color.

FH's opinion is important I think. He is brutally honest. He won't see my hair, but I want him to see the makeup so he can tell me if he thinks I look like a clown.

Fh had seen all the styles I like so he will def be seeing my hair makeup trial outcome. we live together so its unavoidable. i'm not gonna pay for it and then go right home and shower. thats a waste, im gonna go out somewhere all dolled up..lol

DH saw the makeup and I just put my hair in a pony tail so he didnt really see the hair.

you can always ask the hair and makeup people to change it for you before you leave so your DH wont know which style you went with

FH saw both my makeup trials, and he'll see my hair as well. He won't see the tiara or the veil in the hair, but he can see the style.
Honestly, my makeup and hair is so similar to what I do myself for weddings and parties as a guest, that he's not going to be seeing anything he hasn't seen before.

yes he saw me,, i dont think its a big deal really, its just makeup. its not like he is seeing you in the veil or dress. i also liked his opinions on my makeup, he didnt really like my 1st trial, but loved the 2nd.

FH saw my makeup trial because I knew it would be different than the day of and he'd never remember it anyway. Also, I wanted his feedback as to how I looked -- I didn't want him to think I looked like a different person on the wedding day.
As for hair, I prob wouldn't show him.... I'll likely have my headpieces and stuff and that would be too close of what I'd look like DOW.

Yes he saw me and I wanted him to see and approve. I remember being hesistant too but dont worry, men are forgetful anyway! LOL! Plus it isnt the whole look so its different!

FH saw my makeup but not my hair. his opinion is def important to me, esp with the makeup i wanted to make sure he still felt like it was ME.
