If you know who you're using for your hair and makeup and are trying to grow out your hair, when would you hold your trial?
I'm 100% using M*i*a. My wedding is next June, and I want to let me hair grow as much as possible (I chopped it last Winter). So, think it's ok to wait until April, 2010 for a trial? I asked her scheduler but she was no help at all

thats prob good! i had my frist trial end of April and im getting married in August...
i've been trying to grow my hair really long for what seems like forever. but it gets to one lenght and stops growing!! so ill be getting extension peices for the day of the wedding...im thinking about going for another trial in july with the extensions just to make sure i love it

You're 100% sure you're using her as in you already booked her?
If not, I would get your makeup trial immediately at least just to see if you like it so you can make your decision to book. She books very far in advance, so you definitely want to make sure that you secure your date, and then can trial when you feel more comfortable with your hair.

I'm using her and booked without a trial. I plan on going for my trial sometime in the middle of 2010 (probably May or June).

You can have a trial while you're still growing out your hair. If you're going to grow it for the next year, it's not like you can ever see the trial at the exact length it'll be on your wedding day. I had 2 trials, the closest to the wedding was 4 months before. It's more to make sure you trust the person and to see how your hair holds the style, rather than getting the exact look so far in advance.
