hairstyle help! looking for 1930-1940's ideas

I am looking for some good pictures to show my hairstylist of some nice vintage-type hairstyles. Think Rita Hayworth, Jean Harlow, etc. Can you please post pics? My e-party is next weekend and I wanted to try something out!

here is a modern one - but it reminds me of that style - i was thinking about maybe doing my hair like this

my maid of honor did something similar to that...i thought she looked absolutely amazing on my wedding day

this one is good too - FH doesn't want me to do my hair pulled back but I might try it anyway! But I would need extensions, my hair is just a few inches past my shoulders.

thank you for posting this. I have an event to go to soon and i cut my hair short but want to do something with it. I am going to use the pic you posted of charlize therone, since i love the finger waves look and her hair in that pic is the length i have now
