If you did a side pony type hairstyle, what kind of headpiece did you use, if at all, and where did the veil go?

I did a comb tucked into the side as well as a few hairpins on the other side so it didn't look bare. Veil was placed above the ponytail but in the middle obviously. I put the veil a little higher because I like when you can see that little poof of tulle above your head. I was told I could put it lower, too, so you don't get the poof. HTH!
