I am very concerned about 'prom hair' I want my hair to be long and soft and romantic. Can anybody suggest someone more natural? Also are there usually minimums to come to the hotel? I haven't even begun to research this so I have no idea how much to budget for either. Any help is appreciated!

Re: Hairstylists?
My friend recommended the palace in franklin square, she used them for her wedding a few years ago, it is the most inexpensive I have found, only $55 for the bride and $45 for everyone else. Otherwise I love Maximus, but its $150 for the bride and $55 for 1/2 up and $85 for all up for everyone else. If anyone knows any places in more eastern Nassau please post! Franklin square is a little far for me so i'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do.

Re: Hairstylists?
I am using Angela's Hair Design, I did a trial half up with loose curls. I loved the way it came out. She will be coming to my parents house to do my wedding party's hair. She didn't tell me there was a minimum, but I have 7 people getting their hair done so I am sure the I met the minimum if there was one.
edited to add her website http://www.siteskins.net/angelashairdesign/1.html

Re: Hairstylists?
I used Angela's hair design and she was AWESOME! I had no clue what I wanted when I had my trial. She did three trials with me and was super patient. She came to us and there wasn't a minimum (although we had like 5 people anyway). My hair stayed all night no problem and I danced a lot. Lots of pics in my review.

Re: Hairstylists?
I'm going to third Angela!!! She did a couple of styles with me, one being the half up with curls, which looked beautiful but I ended up going with all up since it was going to be hot. But she came to my hotel and was an absolute pleasure to have around! I had 4 other girls and my FG get hair done, so I don't remember about her mins.

I have noticed that everyone has makeup suggestions but not hair. I guess a lot of girls just use their regular stylist?

I love the work I am seeing on the website, but like I said I don't know how much things cost. Is $105 for a trial the norm?

Re: Hairstylists?
I plan on using my regular hair dresser. If you can make it worth it by having a few girls getting their hair done, they will take off. Mine is charging $50 a girl but that may be because she is my regular hair dresser.
