hairy dilemma... need advice

hairy dilemma... need advice

I moved to a new apartment w/ DH 6 months ago but all of my services (hair, nails, etc are all out by where my parents live)

I want to get my hair cut this weekend and I'm wondering... should I stick to the place I have gone to since I was 12 or should I try a new place in the area? I know it sounds like a simple and silly decision to be posting on here but as all of you know, hair is VERY important and I just don't want to risk a bad cut but it would also be nice to get more 'in' with the new area.

i've been doing the same thing! I moved to a new town about a year ago and DH has been here for two years. He stil drives an hour to his old dentist and hair salon (he's more picky about his hair than i am!). I found a new nail place. Now that we're married we are starting to look at new doctors and stuff like that in our area. I say take your time to find something in your new town, if it makes you comfortable to go to your old town for a while thats ok!

Thanks for your opinion, I've been driving myself nuts looking up reviews of places but either the reviews are all mixed or the places are too pricey.

I called one place and they want 50 and up for a cut and blow out... I have long hair, so its 50 and up then for me it will be more like 60 or 65..... and its 30 for a deep conditioning treatment which I am used to getting at my old salon

I still go back to where my parents live to get a haircut. I don't trust anyone else!

I have moved several times, change is good. I have found several great salons when I lived in NYC and now in NJ. I tend to ask around to people I work with. Not sure where you live but maybe ask the girls on here to refer you to a place.
