Re: Hale and Hearty Soups...
They just opened downtown on the corner of Maiden Lane and Pearl St.
I almost tried the broccoli and cheddar...and that would have been just as upsetting to taste it too salty...

Re: Hale and Hearty Soups...
Where are you Frank'sbride, I was in there on Friday, they are very expensive. For a soup and soda it was $9. There is a guy across from the Detusche Bk bldg on Wall Street that makes the best soups for bet $3 & $5 and they are very filling. If you are not careful you will pick a soup that is not on their everyday soup listing and you end up paying $9 like I did. PS the everyday soups are boring.

Re: Hale and Hearty Soups...
Shamma...I'm down the block from Au Bon on Water St...and I LOVE Au Bon Pain's soups...cheddar broccoli, potato cheese, tomato, etc...
I paid $7 for a medium soup...which was really like a small and a bottle of diet pepsi...what a rip off!!!

I agree 100% Have you ever tried the soup guy up by the DB building?? he is great. ABP gives you a soup and a 1/2 a sandwich for that and I think a cookie if I am not mistaken. I am at the corner of Wall and Water in the Barclay's Bldg.
