I am making appointments to see a few halls this saturday. How much time does it take at each venue?

I would say anywhere from 15 minutes to almost and hour.. it depends on how much the rep engages you. They have to show you around the premises.. the cocktail room, rec room, rest rooms, etc. Also they go over the menu.. give you prices..

They usually take an hour. We went to one that took 10 minutes and that one got crossed off the list right away!

Thanks! I made two appointments for Saturday at venues in LIC. 11:00 and 1:00. The venues are only 10 mins away from each other. I think this should be fine.

That should be fine...I don't like when the appointments only last 10 minutes. I spent over an hour at Chateau Briand last nite. You need the time to see the rooms, ask questions, go over the menu, etc.

ITA that this is perfect! I tried to schedule 2 hall visits an hour apart and they they were 45 minutes away from each other....let's just say I was late for the 2nd one!

everywhere that I went to took aprox an hour...sometimes a little longer depending on if they went over everything on the menu. Good Luck!! where are you looking???

Ours were all 30 to 60 mins. From experience, you can probably see up to 4 places in a day if you want/need to. Definitely write stuff down and take pictures so they don't get all mixed in your head!
ITA: Bring a notebook and write EVERYTHING down! I regret not doing that and I got so confused trying to remember things I liked/disliked...
Our meetings were about an hour as well.

I was easily at my 1st appointment for my RH for an hour. You need to take time, check out the rooms and make sure all your questions are answered, and that they take the time to answer your questions.

It's good to give yourself that much time. We sat in the car and wrote down things before we forgot everything, compared opinions, and looked through the folders. It's exhausting, but fun!
