I'm looking for a hall to hold at least 300 to 400 guest. I do not want to break the bank, so looking for something that is still very nice, but not too pricey.
Any help would be appreciated.

That is a lot of people. Have you looked at Crest Hollow. They have different sized rooms and I believe that the Ballroom can hold that amount.

I would think any of the bigger halls can accommodate this request, such as Fox Hollow, Crest Hollow, Woodbury CC. I know Venetian Yacht Club can hold somewhere around 320 in the State Room upstairs.

I haven't looked at those as yet. At first I wanted to do it outdoors or somewhere unique, but the catering cost is starting to add up. So now I'm going to start looking for catering halls that will cover everything, that way I do not have to deal with a lot of vendors too.
I'm going to try the ones you mentioned

Crest Hollow does not have a package deal but they do have an outside area where the ceremony can be help and also an outside area where the cocktail hour can be held.

Re: Hall for 300+ with reasonable price
Yes I am. Hence the big guest list. Its actually at 500. But I cant afford to cater for that many people, so will try to cut the list down as much as possible. Thats why I also need a place with good pricing.

Yeah I had the same problem but I had to cut it down and I am hoping not everyone will show up.

If you don't mind me asking, what was the quote you received from Leonards? I've been to so many weddings there and love it. Planning to visit them this weekend,
Definitely check out Chateau Briand...the Da Vinci room holds about 400. And they are reasonable depending on the time of year and day! HTH

I will deff recommend Russo's on the Bay in Queens they can accomodate over 400 in the ballroom.
They will give you a better rate for that many, your prob looking at $130 -$140 pp though.
What is your price point?

You have FM!!!
I know with a big wedding that budget is a concern. I had 475 guests at first and even though we could afford the RH per person quote we could not afford what came after.
More people=more invitations, favors, centerpiece for tables, etc...
I didn't want to sacrifice the quality and small details, so we ended up cutting the guest list.
