Hall Recommendations

Hi Ladies,

I have a friend who is recently engaged and looking to marry in Fall 2005. She's looking for a hall with some gardens, but is willing to take photos elsewhere if the hall is really good but lacks photo potential.

She can only guarantee 100 - 120 and she doesn't want to spend more than $125 a plate. She's looking for a Friday or Saturday night.

Any suggestions??

Re: Hall Recommendations

The Swan Club has gardens and fits her budget (it's actually less). They do a couple reception at a time, so I'm sure they'll have a room to fit her # of guests.

I would try Sandcastles, they have a garden in the back for ceremony and pictures. I found they gave the most for our money, I just wanted a hall on the water. Their food and service are suppose to be excellent!

Also try the Riviera in Massapequa and the thatched cottage.

Stewart Manor Country Club - we are paying way less then $125 a head and we only had to guarantee 100 ppl. The grounds are beautiful, there is a gazebo out front and a lot of other places to take pictures. they are definelty worth checking out.

Gives prices, and has pictures of many halls on LI/NYC

Congrats to your friend and best of luck with her decision!

Majestic Gardens sounds like what she's looking for. Also East Wind Country Gardens may work, and the Thatched Cottage is good to try as well.

Good Luck friend!
