The church has finally responded! I spoke to them back in January and gave them my initial information ('are you looking for March 16, 1913?' ) and haven't heard from them since. I called and no one would call back. FINALLY I got someone and we are in and I have the phone # for the deacon and for pre cana. Yay! Now I don't have to worry, we WILL have a ceremony!

Re: Hallelujah!
My church still doesn't know if the pastor will be on vacation that day. They said because it is a year away they don't know. They don't understand that you have to plan a wedding a year in advance at least. ugh so frustrating. So I told my RH about this just in case I end up having to have the ceremony there.

Re: Hallelujah!
Our church got back to us right away but since my fiance was married before its a whole big process that can take up to 15 months so we might end up having a ceremony at the RH but fingers crossed it will all work out.

The original woman who took my info retired and apparently they were going through all her paperwork or something.

This happened with me too! We planned an emergency ceremony at the RH, just incase. Thankfully, the pastor got back to me 2 weeks ago saying the day is good.
