Anyone ever heard of or been to an event at Hallockville Farm in Riverhead? It's amazing from its pictures and EXACTLY what I am looking for as far as my theme goes. I'm falling in love with every picture I see

My main concerns are would we have to find our own caterer, what are the 'portable lavatory facilities' like, are tables/chairs provided etc?

Im going to try to convince FH to take a drive out there on Sunday, but I'd like to get as much information as possible before going so I don't fall in love with it and come to realize it wont work out. FIL's have the final say since they are the ones signing the check for the venue

I had a friend that looked at it and she said it was much smaller than she expected. She didn't like the idea of the portable bathrooms and the fact that she would have to worry about the place being cleaned and garbage removed by the next day. If you are going for a rustic theme Martha Clara is right across the street and they have a barn that does receptions. I would also check out the Old Field Club.

Also check out the queens county farm museum. My FSIL wants a rustic barn wedding and she's looking there :)
