halloween and cats

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For those who do cat rescue and work in cat shelters. Please be extra careful when it comes to adopting out cats, especially black cats. Halloween is coming and there are crazy people out there that will do crazy things to cats.

Thanks!!

I have had some very strange requests for the black kitten we have for adoption...

We decided to hold her till after Halloween...and all of the strange requests disappeared.

We had one whose e-mail was something like 'killallmaggots' and when I did a search on the person's name and e-mail...it was a screen name they were using on these weird goth/death sites....very scary. They contacted me willing to 'come and get' the black kitten as soon as she was available. They weren't interested in any of the others.

Very weird, very scary.

Good. Put the word out!

I have had about 4 black cats in my life. Every year I make sure they are in the house.

She's so cute, she looks like my little girl Missy
