Halloween Home decorating...

I am having a Halloween party. I am trying to think of fun, but easy, ways to decorate my house. I want to be creative, not just the ordinary pumpkins and whatever...
Any ideas...thanks

You can get that spider web stuff to put around the house and buy big plastic spiders to put in them. I know Stef has a fog machine for her halloween parties. You can also get or make the tombstones to put all over your front yard. I hang the purple lights in my kitchen window. You can also get corn stalks and hay and a scarecrow.

you can get cheap, white gauze fabric & shred it & hang it from the ceiling, trees or over furniture, put dead flowerrs in vases all over the house, spray paint a bunch of white doves(from michaels or frank's) black and perch them all around your house (this looks great, I do this every year and get compliments!)

Oh, for the party you can make a punch bowl out of a pumpkin or use dry ice to make it all spooky.

We have the orange and purple icicle lights in the windows. We got them at odd job for less than 2 bucks. Black lights are also fun for minimal moments. They tend to hurt my eyes and I think you usually need a lot to make a huge effect.

Great ideas from Martha
MS Halloween Ideas

Im hoping to do a few of her ideas. I aslo want to do this:
Eyeball Highball

I would love to do gravestones but i cant figure out how to do them properly.

In the past I have collected twigs and sticks and made crosses to use as grave markings.

I also use painters tape on the floor to make a 'chalk outline' of a body.

I write 'REDRUM' on my bathroom mirror.

Im going to do some 'spooky' wine labels this year but i havent figured out just what exactly.

I still need to figure out a menu.

Couldn't you make the tombstones out of 1 or 2 inch thick stryofoam??

Thats what some of the sites say but i dont understand how to get them to look real if they are made of styrofoam. Wouldnt they just fall apart?

Me too. How are you doing it? (which cut out, with material or paper, how are you cutting, etc?)
