Halloween traditions?

We are not big into halloween parties or getting dressed up.. last time i dressed up i went as snow white but i was so overweight i looked like snow white who ate the seven dwarfs!! LOL

We ALWAYS stay home for the kids so we can give out candy and then go to the token halloween movie that night..

Re: Halloween traditions?

the last two years we've gone to the Oheka Castle Halloween Costume Party. It's so much fun - we get all dressed up and eat lots of good food and cake.
Last year, I wore my costume (Juliet) to school and my 7th graders were in hysterics!!! for the rest of the year, some of them called me 'Juliet' even!!
I can't wait for Halloween this year...hey Suzanne...I'm thinking of being SNow White this year!!!

I have not dresses up in years. My most recent were GI Jane (with my former boss) and a cat.

i used to buy candy, only to find myself eatting it cause no one comes around.

This year I am dying to dress up.

Need a good place to go....Any ideas????

the kids had a great time...and, well, so did the teachres!!

How about the annual Village Halloween parade? It is always a fun time! There are also so many great bars in the area to go stop in afterwards!!! The village is always a great festive place on Halloween to go for those who have never been. Halloween is on Friday this year which makes it more fun. I grew up in Manhattan so I love promoting the city!!
