HALLOWEEN WEDDING

Anyone ever been to or planned a Halloween wedding. I am looking for some unique ideas. Although my fiance and I will be wearing the normal bride/groom attire, we want to plan some surprises for our guests.

Re: HALLOWEEN WEDDING

I would definitely give out trick-or-treat bags as favors, use Halloween votives for place cards, and give out those eye masks (the ones that cover just your eyes) for guests to wear. You could do names of famous monsters or scary movies instead of table numbers. And don't foget to play 'Thriller' and Monster Mash....check out youtube for some really cool Thriller wedding dances that some bridal parties did!!
A couple of brides on here had Hallo-weddings. If you do a search you will probably find a lot more ideas!!!

Re: HALLOWEEN WEDDING

My bridesmaids are going to be in lavender & black. Below is a picture of the dress. My invites are metallic black & lavender. The reception hall is going to be more orange & black. The table runners are going to be orange & black and the favors (caramel apples) will be wrapped in orange & black.

Re: HALLOWEEN WEDDING

I'm doing a Halloween wedding next year. I have lots of ideas I want to incorporate into the day to make it more Halloween-ish. I'm going to get living statues during the cocktail hour to scare the guests. The placecards will be attached to mini-pumpkins. When each guest comes to their table they will each have a mask at their place setting. I want caramel apples on the tables as favors and I'm going to have a candy bar at the end of the night (kind of like trick or treating!). I'm doing my centerpieces in funkins (fake carvable pumpkins - no smell!). I also think I want to have mini hurricane holders with pumpkin candles held in place with candy corns. Hope this helps! Good luck!

i always said that if i had a halloween wedding i would tell everyone to come in costume....th eonly thing is that you know some of the older people wouldnt come in costume and then i wasnt sure about pictures but i thought it would be so cool if everyone really got all decked out
