Lots of places - do you prefer north shore or south shore?

The Crescent Beacch Club, Chateau La Mer, Windows on the Lake, Crows Nest, Riviera, and plenty more. Where on the island are you looking, how much do you want to spend pp? That will help narrow it down.

I am not really that picky about where (south shore or north shore). Curious about prices though-we would like to keep it around 100/120 pp as we have alot of people to invite. Are these prices unreasonable for a wedding on the water? As you can tell I am a LI weddings newbie!

Another option is Danfords in Port Jefferson, but they cannot accommodate more than 115-125 people.I think you should be available to find some options in your price range. Friday nights and Sunday weddings are usually a little cheaper. The time of year factors in the cost too.

look at Cheteau Le Mer in Lindenhurst, it's on the water, and I think it's right in your price range.

Re: Halls on the water??
Of those mentioned, Chateau La Mer and Riviera are definitely in your price range. Crescent and Atlantica are both well above that. The others I don't really know about.

Re: Halls on the water??
I'm not sure about pricing for all of the halls, but I can tell you that The Crescent is more than you want to spend. I'm sure that the Riviera and Windows on the Lake would fall into your price range though. Check out this website www.weddingsitesandservices.comYou'll be able to look at pcitures, sample menus, capacity, and pricing.

Re: Halls on the water??
It's in Westchester, but my hall is right on the water, unobstructed view. It's only about 35-40 min from LI with traffic. The price pp is a little higher than what you were looking for, but I'm sure the price fluctuates during the year. Glen Island

GIORGIO's!!!! It's on the North Shore out in Baiting Hollow. The scenary is BREATHTAKING! Food is excellent and service is wonderful. I think they seat 300-400, I'm having 200 and I know they do smaller parties too. You have the beach, garden and golf course for pictures and the reception room is so elegant. Prices are also beyond fair!www.giorgiosatfoxhill.com
FM me if you want more details! It's seriously a hidden gem!

If you're willing to go off-season, The Crescent could be within your price range. Their off-season runs somewhere from Nov. to mid-May. If you're like me, the water is a necessity - so we're opting for a Friday night to make it within our budget. If you go for a Saturday day, it's only about $100/head, not including tax and tip (under $130 including both).
Also, Harbor Club in Huntington should be within that range (completely different atmosphere). Similar pricing for a bunch of places furhter east, like Lake Ronkonkoma.

Re: Halls on the water??
If you know anyone who went to USMMA, the Officer's Club, Melville Hall, overlooks the water. One wall is all glass and there's a wrap around porch.
