Hamlet Counrty Club in Commack

has anyone been there? any feedback?? prices?

I realize there are 3 Hamlets, one in Commack, Hauppage and Mt Sinai and they have not relation.

they do have a relation... they are all run by the same parent company... they sometimes even share employees....

I'm havine my wedding at Hamlet Willow Creek in mt.sinai. I was told they are affiliated. I'm paying 85.00 for adults, 65.00 for teens 35.00 for kids and vendors. Eveyone i have asked have liked it so far. I was a little nervous cause i booked it a week after it opened.

The prices I got for the Hamlet in Commack were $90-110 per person (I can't remember exactly). They offer two slightly different packages.
I remember the layout if you need to know.

I went to go check it out and loved it. I thought the decor was great, and loved the ballroom. Considering the size of my wedding, they would need to host CH in the lobby, which I thought was just too tight and uncomfortable. They are also on top of a golf course, so there was no room for an outdoor ceremony, which for me, was something I wanted (weather permitting). The only other 'con' was that it's located inside a gated community and it seemed to be a more of an upscale country club, and at times, the BM came off snobby herself. If you have a smaller guest list and are getting married in a church, I would def recommend checking it out.

I am getting married at the Hauppauge Hamlet. I didn't really like the Commack one. It wasn't my style, althought the entry way was beautiful! It was really expensive compared to the other two (Hauppauge and Mt. Sinai).
My cousin works for the Hamlet in Mt. Sinai and said all the Hamlets do a wonderful job. SHe said the chefs at all three are really good. I would go check out all three.

I'm getting married at the Hamlet in Commack next Sept. We're having the ceremony there (outdoors hopefully) and the cocktail hour is outdoors as well. We're having around 250 people. The ballroom is getting renovated in Feb. 2006. Just a few simple changes but it's going to be much more appealing. Right now it has pink curtains, hunter green carpet, and a partition to split the room in half. They're taking down the curtains, putting in new carpet and taking down the partition. I like it now but overall it will be much nicer after. We thought Denise, the BM, is extremely nice and helpful. Also my FI's parents know someone who used to work w/ her and had nothing but amazing things to say about her. I would highly recommend checking it out. We're getting married on a Sat. evening and were quoted at 125pp for 200+ people. If you want a country club feel this is the place to go. FM me w/ any more questions. HTH!

Hamlet in COmmack was our 2nd choice. Its beautiful!! I really loved it but $$$. We were quoted $125 pp ++ for Sat night in April/May

The cocktail hr is in a beautiful bar area or outside if its nice. The ballroom is nice and the dancefloor is portable so they can put it wherever you want! I love the decor. Huge windows and tall ceilings.

They just dont have a place for outdoor ceremony.

I was told that we could get married outside in the patio area. They set up the archway/chuppah on the pavement in front of the fountain. I hope that this is true b/c if it's nice we definitely want the ceremony outside. Who told you that if you don't mind me asking?
