Hamlet country club in commack...any info?

Just wondering if I should take this place under consideration when looking for a catering hall. Anyone have an information?

I never got a chance to look there (they were in the throes of the Hamlet Cup) ... which I believe is in September so something to consider with dates.

I looked there - it was gorgeous. I was looking for a Saturday night in June and the price per person was $250. This was a little over a year ago not sure if it went up at all. Definitely beautiful but I just could not do that much $ per person thats why I am doing the one in Hauppague - it is a scaled down version of it and the menu is pretty much the same.

My father lives in that development and I've been there many times. Very beautiful. My only problem is that it is a country club and the members have access to half the room where the cocktail is. There are glass doors that seperate the room though. I am getting married at Areca which is at the Hamlet in Plainview. They both do a wonderful job.

We went to a wedding there two years ago, and it was beautiful, the food was wonderful. The only 'negative' thing (we thought) was that the cocktail hour was too spread out and a little uncoordinated. We didn't eat because every time we finally got to a station, the food was gone But dinner was great. It was on a Sunday evening, sorry, not sure about the price. Good luck!
