After seeing 11 halls, we finally arrived at the Hamlet Country Club in Commack, which we LOVE, but we don't know much about it and really don't know anyone who has attended a wedding there.
I have a few questions regarding this venue before we book as I can't find a recent review or many pictures of it.
Does anyone know what the food is like? (we are trying to get in a tasting before we book!)
What does the room look like with up lighting?
How was the service?
Any help or if anyone knows of a review or pictures it would be great!

My cousin had his wedding there a few years ago and it was great. Loved the food...don't remember if they had up lighting or the how the service was, but I feel like I would've remembered bad service lol. It was a fall wedding and the indoor ceremony room was beautiful. They had an outdoor cocktail hour which was also beautiful but I remember it being short on seating...which many people don't sit during cocktail hr. anyway so prob not a big deal! My aunt and uncle live in the Hamlet and have been to many weddings there and never had a bad thing to say! My aunt and mom are actually looking into throwing my shower there!

How many people were at your cousins wedding? We are going to do an indoor/outdoor cocktail hour, she said there should be enough seating but that is a concern of mine as well.

The room was really nice...now that you mention it, my cousins was indoor/outdoor also. Maybe the issue was that everyone was outside though because it was a gorgeous day.

my parents live there, and i lived there until i moved in with my fiance (now husband). i have been to a million dinners and private parties there, including a sedar last night. please fm me if u have any questions. but overall i would say it is now becoming a popular wedding place since they re did the lobby and a new managment company took it over which is really first class service. goodluck!
