Re: hamlet willow creek

We are getting married there October 1. It is hard to find out info on them. The place is gorgeous, Barbara is wonderful, not sure about the food yet. There are a few posts on them if you do a search you will see them.

I know someone who's been there. The food was good, the place is beautiful. If you like a country club atmosphere...but I heard the cocktail room (aka the lobby) is small if you have a large party. and, they don't really cater to couples who need a reception site, they will but really aren't set up for it. (We met with Barbara too) we needed to get married at the venue. and decided we didn't want a country club wedding, that's the major deciding factors why we didn't book.

definitely do a search... there is a small group of hamlet willow creekers on here... one just had their wedding and she posted a mini review... she said it was great and the food was great... the building is beautiful!

We are having our wedding there and just saw it completed for the first time - it is beautiful! Classic and elegant. Barbara is incredible and has helped us every step of the way. The food is amazing, esp the filet mignon and Chilean sea bass. I urge you to check it out - I dont know how the price per head is now, but we booked pre construction and got an incredible deal. Best of luck!

We are getting married there next summer. Both FH and I were very happy with everything from the food (we insisted on a tasting before we booked b/c they are so new and we had never heard anything about the place before) to the location. It is brand new which is so nice b/c everything is new in the place, and they are very willing to work w/you because they need to make a name for themselves.

I happen to know a member of the wedding band Timepiece and he did a wedding there and rated it as one of the top places he has been to (that opinion goes a long way with me b/c he has been to soooo many places). Additionally I have a friend who was a guest at a wedding there last month and she raved about it, esp. the food.

I was concerned about the cocktail hour being inside (if the weather is bad), but they have a restaurant/bar that would be another room for the ch if it cannot be outside.

It is definitely worth checking out - the price is great for what you get and Barbara is a delight to work with.

I hope this helps and good luck!

Hi there... I was the one who just got married there, actually a month ago this past Saturday. It was amazing and people when I speak to them still rave about the food. There was so much and it was all delicious. I got a look at the CH selection and it was massive. The shrimp (if you do the raw bar) where huge and they kept filling it when it was like half empty. As for dinner the portions are great and delicious. They don't take your dishes until a certain time and make sure everyone eats. They did not take any of our dishes away until we ate everything.

As for the look of the hall..... it was perfect. The CH was in he lobby and deck, plenty of room for all. The hall was breath taking when we walked in. I should have proofs this week and will post some pic's of the hall.

Service was great, very professional. They went out of their way to assist my guests. One guest didn't like the tea they served so the guy went and got the entire box of teas so she could pick what she wanted. They attended me, DH and our parents with everything and made sure we had everything we needed (wanted). When my parents got up during dinner they actually covered there dishes to keep them warm.

As you can see I can't say enough about this place. We booked it on fate and were definietly blown away by what we got.

FM if you have any questions.
