Anyone have any info about them? I heard they redid the ballroom. I don't see too many posts on LIW about them. Wondering about the food, $$, any reviews, thanks

It's pretty cheap.. the food is pretty good. I'm not a huge fan of the Hamlets, but that's just my style choice. I've heard good things...

I love the Hamlet Willow Creek which is very similar to the Hamlet Wind Watch! I have my food tasting with them on 11/1 so I will let you know!

Re: Hamlet wind watch, Hauppauge
I got married @ the Hamlet Wind Watch in November 07. It was the first place I saw and fell in love the moment I walked in. It is one wedding at a time, on a beautiful golf course, the food is amazing and the staff and especially Denise are AMAZING to work with. They definitely are not cheap – depends on what your idea of cheap is – but they do give you a lot for your money. Any questions, you have let me know. A few 07 girls got married their last year and a couple 08 girls. HTH!

Re: Hamlet wind watch, Hauppauge
I am getting married there! I went to a bunch of places and went there on a whim. I fell in love with it the minute I walked in. They are really friendly there, the ballroom is realllllly bright and sunny, and the food is great. I had a budget to spend a lot more $ and they were way below my budget. Hope this helps, def. check it out.

I looked at it and liked it a lot - they just redid their ballroom too. I also liked that there's a hotel right next door so if any guests want to stay over and not have to drive home they can walk right over after the wedding. That also saves you money on having to hire a shuttle bus. The golf course is beautiful also and I think they were very reasonable - not more than $95 per person I think. I just didn't go with them because once my fiance saw Flowerfield he refused to even consider anything else because he loved it so much!
