She loves the room at CLM and that its on the water but not crazy about the location.
She loves the view at HWW and that it is right next door to the Hyatt but not crazy about the grand ballroom.
But overall she really likes both places.
She was curious if anyone has been to a wedding at either place and what your overall experience was?

Definitely Chateau Le Mer. I went to a wedding there once and it was amazing. Don't worry about the location. Its beautiful. I also used to work at the Hamlet....and i'm not a big fan.

I've never been to CLM, but I spend a lot of time at the HWW over the summer because we all play golf there and the grounds are beautiful and the food is really good.

chateau la mer...FBIL had his wedding there and it was very nice!! i like that its on the water!

I have been to the HWW for a wedding and it was very nice. never been to one at CLM, even though we booked there. we wanted someplace different. we have been to a lot of weddings and wanted a place we haven't been to before. that being said, we are going to a wedding @ CLM in August LOL didn't work out too well huh? But from all the reviews, CLM is great, with food service etc.
I did like HWW though, very pretty and the food and service was great too. it all depends on what atmosphere she is going for.

I haven't been to a wedding at either although everyone raves about CLM...if I were her, I'd probably go with the ballroom that I liked the best since that's where you'll spend the most time
