Hamptons getaway?

Hi girls,
We're looking into options for my bachelorette party and were thinking of hamptons or montauk for a weekend in July - does anyone know anyone renting out a house or any websites or any way I can get a weekend? It seems impossible. Just hope I don't have a crappy bach. party since FH's best man has planned an awesome cabin getaway!! Just bummed out. Any advice would be great. Thanks

the hamptons can get real expensive if you rent a house. A few years ago i went wwith friends to marthas vineyard and looking up houses for that, well one friend said we should also consider the hamptons and she looked up houses and i helped her. Most houses in the hamptons do monthly rentals or rentals for the whole summer, we were only looking for a week and had a hard time finding a house that rented for just a week, so first that was a problem to find just that. And ill say that the rentals were in the $20,000 range and higher so i told my friend to forget it for those prices...there were very few that were lower but very small houses that didnt have enough rooms for us and were in bad condition and even those ill say werent cheap.

I know people who do rent houses in the hamptons, but what they do is get a real big group of people to do it, and they do it for the whole summer or a month or two since a month is usually the minimum. But they usually get a big group to do it with and use throughout the whole summer so they can split the costs since its expensive. People who rent their houses in the hamptons prefer to just rent it out for the whole summer or 1 or 2 months so this way they do it all in one shot instead of renting out to so many people. You can search online theres a few sites that will show houses for rent and maybe youll get lucky you never know.

When ive stayed in the hamptons we just stayed at a hotel, wasnt like a regular hotel they were cottages, but some of the cottages have a living room, kitchen, outside porch so you can look into that
