I am looking at to places in the Hamptons- Gurney's Inn & East Hampton Point. Anyone dealt with any of these places? how was it? Were you happy with the results?
We are also looking at the Chart House in Weehawken- any feedback on that?
Thanks!

I was married at Atlantica. It was AMAZING. I highly recommend!!!!
I loved atlantica but it was just a little high for our budget. We really want an evening wedding and this just slightly out of our range.
But your pictures look amazing!

Chart House has excellent Food. How big of a wedding are you planning? Chart House is a smaller venue, I believe.
You should also look at Liberty House in Jersey City, which is beautiful as well.

FH's firehouse does 'ladies weekends' there all the time, and we have had their company dance there a few times too.. its really nice, and peaceful... but on the smaller side, how many people are you thinking will be there for reception, and rooms needed?

Re: Hamptons Reception Halls
Thanks for all the advice. We saw the Chart House today- unbelievable menu for the price. Room seemed a little bit dated. But it was foggy so we're going to go back to really see the view of NYC at night (it was very foggy). I think that is the 'wow' factor of the place.
next week out to the Hamptons to see....

Fh and I were going to look into Crows Nest. But decided to stay closer to Nassau. I think they do a 3 day package and it starts at like $80 a head...

I was married at East Hampton Point in October 2006 and it was beyond perfect. The setting, the food and everything about it was amazing! Highly recommend it.
