I'm looking for a restaurant in the montauk-bridgehampton area for a rehearsal dinner in early May of next year. Does anyone have any feedback on any places? We're looking for 50-60 people.

In Montauk... 1-there is the Harvest which serves family style portions and is excellent. It's right on the pond and gorgeous at sunset. 2-Manucchi's which is italian food. It's very good and very nice inside.
In East Hampton... 1-Bostwicks which is excellent. They're mostly known for their seafood pasta, but have many other things as well. They sit overlooking the water on 3 mile harbor. 2- Seracen which i have never been to but i heard its good and the atmosphere is great. It is right on the creek. My fiance and i are looking at them for our rehearsal dinner as well. My fiance is a cop so we're lucky enough to be getting $30 per person, which includes open bar. 3- Michaels is great. New owners and the food is the best! They range from seafood to steak and their steak is better than the Palm. The owners are renovating so the place has improved immensely! Since they're new, you might be able to get a good price there.

Gosmans and the Harvest are both great places in Montauk, also Top Side in Montauk

Thanks so much for the info! My fiance and I thought about Saracen's but felt that it would be way too expensive. What kind of food are you having? That is a great deal. Also how big is Michael's?

Might be too far but I had my rehearsal dinner at the Indian cove restaurant, and it was truly, truly amazing...
The Harvest is also a great place, great food!! They are both really good, go check them out see what they have to offer

Where are the majority of the people attending the RD going to be?
In East Hampton, Nichols is my favorite. I'm not sure of how many people they hold though. There is also, Maidstone Arms (very elegant but pricey) James Lane Cafe, or Cafe Max.
Sag Harbor would be closer than Montauk. Il Cappuccino and Spinnakers are wonderful and do a great job for private parties.
