Hamptons wedding?

I was wondering if anyone has been to or had a Hamptons wedding?
I am thinking of renting one of those gorgeous houses on the beach in South Hampton for my wedding in Sept/Oct 2006. Does anyone have any advice as to what I'm getting myself into? Is the cost going to be much more than having it in a hall?

I've been looking out in the Hamptons too. I think i'm going to settle on Montauk. I did a search on this site for 'beach' the other day and found a thread that discussed renting a house. I remember it saying it cost quite a bit.
