Hey ladies, So I have been obsessing with Pintrest lately and realized I want a fun cheap(er) outdoor wedding. So my thoughts obviously find someone with an awesome back yard..but I don't know anyone so I have decided on possibly renting out a house in the hamptons for a week and having it there.. Is that allowed!!! IDK if people do that .. Has anyone ever done that?? Let me know or give me a better idea~
<3 much love

Hamptons wedding
We looked into renting a house for that same reason. We looked on VRBO, I made my first call and the minimum rental I believe was 3 nights and it was going to cost us over $10,000 just to rent the house and my search stopped there. Good luck. My husband also just mentioned a site called home away.

I was going to do that also but when i realize the cost I changed my mind. You have to rent a house that is big enough for everyone and enough space to park their cars. Then you have to rent wait staff, tables, linen, china and then the regular wedding costs ( flowers, band/dj, favors and etc,)

Hamptons wedding
I found a place yesterday I am going to give them a call this week! My family owns a business so we do a lot of barter work with rental companies (tents tables and chairs and such) so that is not a huge concern for me. I am so excited!

Hamptons wedding
love this idea! this is what FH and I wanted to do but the cost was crazy after everything you have to add in PLUS the house rental...we are still getting married in the Hamptons but now doing it at a really nice restaurant on the water...EVERYTHING we need (venue, food, alcohol, taxes, gratuity) for about 8k...good luck in your search and let us know how it goes!!!

Re: Hamptons wedding
depending on when you want to get married, some house rentals are in the thousands (think $8K not $2K) and in peak season it could do up, and its usually a week minimum. I doubt you would get it for cheaper than a hall, bc then you have to bring in a caterer and off prem is a lot more expensive than inhouse
