Hand address invites (w/pic)?

Hand address invites (w/pic)?

Is it ok to hand address invites? We're running late, we had to reorder them b/c our hall told us to put the wrong time on the originals! They paid for it, but we're late. We're having a daytime wedding, although it will be somewhat formal.

A pic of the invites is below (only we used white ribbon). We had the return address printed on the outer envelopes, we're not using inner envelopes. Is it inappropriate to hand address them rather than send them to Inkspun to get them done?

I believe that many etiquette books recommend hand addressing your invitations.

If you don't know calligraphy there are many great starter sets that can have you up and writing in no time.

Good luck!

We are hand addressing for our semi-formal daytime affair.

I went to Pearl Paint & got a matching ink colour (they have Thousands of ink colors in many oints and textures) so it will not look out-of-context.

Tell me what you decide!

I am fairly late also. My return date for the response is June 21st - so I really have to get them out by Saturday or Monday the latest. I called Bill from Inkspun and he was so helpful. This morning I e-mailed him my list and he e-mailed me to look it over to make sure it was ok about 2 hours later. Today I Fed Ex him the stuff so he should get it tomorrow by 10 and he said that I should get my stuff back by Thursday (this Thursday!!!). Originally he said Friday but b/c I am in a rush and he is getting my stuff tomorrow morning the can do it.

I didn't want to hand write them because I will be too nervous and will probably make to many mistakes.

Sorry so long but he is getting it back to me in about two days!!! Call him and tell him your situation - I am sure he can help and it will take a lot off you.

Call Rebecca from Favorite Things Invitations - she is going out on maternity leave soon but she can do laser calligraphy very quickly and for a very reasonable price!!! I was very happy with her work! Good Luck!
