Hand Cancellation?

Hand Cancellation?

When you request that invitation are hand cancelled, what does that mean?

When I went to my post office, I asked if I could hand cancel my own (because I've heard horror stories)

It means that instead of your invites being run through the machine, someone hand stamps each one (to cancel out the postage stamps)

my dad brought them to the post office for me and i had told him to ask to get it done.. When i went there to see about it they made it seem like they do it. Well my poor dad stood there hand cancelling all 90 or so invites for me..oops

I hand cancelled my own at the post office in syosset.

Be careful because sometimes they tell you they are going to do it and don't.

I asked them to hand cancel my shower invites and they didn't. They came out dirty and had black print on them.

My wedding invites came out ok. These were both done at the Syosset post office.
