Does anyone know of any Post Offices near Port Washington that will allow you to hand cancel yourself without a problem?

I brought my invitations to the Port Washington Post Office expecting them to tell me to cancel them myself if I didn't want them to go through the machine and they said that they would do it. There was a bead on the invitation that I was worried would poke through if not cancelled carefully but when I asked people there were damages/rips/holes they said they were fine. Not sure if that really answers your question though....

I didn't ask actually. I just left the STDs and invites with them and didn't have any problems.

I left mine at the PO in Roosevelt Field. They came out perfectly! So pleased!

I had mine hand cancelled in Garden City.. they came out ok.. some the ink was a little smudged but the invite was fine...
Hand Cancelling is when they stamp the envelopes instead of putting them through the machine...
