Hand cancelling invitations...

Did you do this or not?

I'm confused and don't know if I should bother doing this or not. I'm not even really sure why I'd do it.

Re: Hand cancelling invitations...

Hand cancelling is done at the post office. They stamp your invites manually instead of running them through a machine.

I did this because my invites were very delicate and I did not want anything to happen to them.

Re: Hand cancelling invitations...

the lady at the post office did it for me. it's just a little circular imprint instead of those wide black lines. it isn't that big of a deal but i had it done bc i didn't want the lines to be so noticeable on the envelope.

Re: Hand cancelling invitations...

I brought them to the Hicksville Post Office. They did it for me. My invitations were large and it keeps them from getting ruined in the machine.
