HAND CANCELLING STDs

HAND CANCELLING STDs

Hey All,

My STDs are magnets that are about 4 inches x 5 inches (approx.) and weigh 2 ozs. Should I hand cancel them? I'm unsure if they'll get messed up if I don't! Any thoughts?

Absolutely not necessary.

We didn't hand cancel ours and they arrived just fine.

I would definitely hand cancel your STD-otherwise, they go through the machine and who knows what! Better safe than sorry! Also, it looks much more formal!

BTW-Hand Canceling means that the post office actually hand stamps the envelopes instead of putting them through a machine (which I am sure that they do anyway!)

Will the post office hand stamp them, or will they give me the stamp and let me do it there? I thought I read on here that they allow you to do it?

Ahhh, how are the trials going? Nice to know the judges are back from summer vacation! I was actually at court filing something on Tuesday and was shocked at how full the parking lot was! When I was a judicial intern it was such a ghost town nearly all summer.

3L stiiiiiiiiiiinks!!!!!!!

I brought my STD's to the post office and had them hand stamp them (and yes i stood right in front of the man as he did them ).
Bring them in and see what they say. Good luck!

If you feel more comfortable I would hand stamp them. I'm sure they would arrive fine but they will be put through the machine if you don't do them. If you think that there is a possibility that they can get ruined I would hand cancel!!! Good Luck

Yeah, you know what they say 1L-scare you to death, 2L-work you to death, 3L-bore you to death...but I know with your journal they are working you to death! It will get better!

I swear, I went to work Thursday and no one was there...fast foward to Tuesday-mob scene, line out the door! (Doesn't help that my judge likes to second call, then third call, then call for 30 minutes EVERY CASE!)-boring trial today-I just read a forensics and refused to question or object (stupid issue-two people trying a matrimonial in family court which has nothing to do with me and the only reason I am stuck is because the children are mentioned in the petition -worse is mat lawyers like to make simple order of protection trials into the next OJ murder trial! So, we are back on Tues, when I will be working on my vows!)

Yes, you definitely can hand cancel them yourself, and they will be more than happy to let you do it! That I can tell you with an absolute degree of legal certainty!

Good luck!
