hand delivering invites

are you hand delivering invites to anyone??

my mom told me that we are suppose to hand deliver invites to our parents & grandparents.

has anyone else heard about this??

she loves getting crap in the mail from us

My cousin did to some of the close family-like her god mother, grandmother. But the only ones that I thought I would do would be my co-workers and fh co-workers

I am but only to my FIL's and my co-workers and close friends. I dont see why I should mail them if I'm going to see them on a reg.

Indian's have a tradition where FH or his parents have to hand deliver the invitations to all family members that live close by. I feel sorry for him because that means a lot of driving and visiting relatives, which I know he doesn't want to do.

I plan to hand deliver invites also, I live in an apartment building with some relatives so I'm just going to deliver it to them; makes no sense for me to mail it out to come back to the same house.

Oh yeah and I'll hand deliver them to my co-workers also.

my mother told me I dont have to sent one to my brother and sister and just give her one to have ( we are still at home) and give one to my dad(parents divorced) I know my brother will not care about it, I am sending one to his girlfriend anyway but I think my younger sister wants one! less stamps to buy

i spoke to FH about it & we will hand deliver to my parents, my sister & her boyfriend, FMIL, & FHs grandmother.

since i am crazy i am going to put the stamp on them anyone so they can save them.

so funny because my mom said its rude if we mailed invites to our parents & grandparents.

arg, where do our mothers get their info from?? can't they just all give the same damn advice?? would cause us all a lot less headaches.

I think I will hand deliver to my co-workers. I mean, I seat right next to all of them and its not that big of an office. I hand delivered the STD's to them.

We will hand deliver to FMIL, just cause I think its weird to send to our own mother who lives 15 mins away. But I am going to mail to my parents due to the Ocean and a sea apart.

The rest I will mail.

My cousin last yr hand delivered some of them, including to me. I so didnt care, I wasnt even expecting an invite (I was in the BP). I did tho send RSVP to her, just cause I thought it was funny to write something silly inside LOL

That's definitely part of my family's traditions. We hand deliver invites to my parents, grandparents and aunt and uncle. Yes, I will be.
